Single Rear Mounted Swivel Assembly 15 inch 55mm Dome Semi-Pneumatic Tyre

Assembly – Rear Mount Assemblies are a popular method of adding a rear mounted swivel press wheel capability to either a new or an existing bar with wide spacings (15 inch and greater). The popularity of these units is due to the independant nature of each assembly, strength to weight ratio, simplicity of design and ease of maintenance. The single swivel arm design ensures that the unit is capable of clearing most obstacles and that a very even pressure is maintained across the width of the machine. Generally 15 inch or 16 inch inch wheel sizes are used with this assembly and a large number of tyre options is available to suit. Units come standard with Alloy hub fitted with 16mm heavy duty (designed for dirt) encased roller bearing with guards  (overcaps) front and rear of hub. A range of other accessories are available to augment performance in some marginal conditions. A low tool bar will require to be fitted to the rear of the machine to mount these press wheels.

Tyre – 55mm wide narrow dome (egg) shape semi-pneumatic tyre. This tyre is a medium pressure tyre suited to wet and sticky conditions. Tyre will give good results across a range of soil and climatic conditions. Tyre is good for moisture seeking behind very narrow points in firm soil structures. Tyre has a tendency to leave paddocks rough, which is a necessity of the moisture channelling. Not recommended in rough or very abrasive soils as this is quite a soft tyre. Not recommended for use in sandy soils as too much soil may come back in over the seed.
