Single Walking Wheels Complete with 15 inch 80mm Wedge semi-pneumatic tyres – Slimline Agri Hub version.  This is the fixed version with no swivel so it will not furrow follow during turns.

Slimline Agri-Hub Variant – Assembly – Twin and Single Walking Wheels are a very popular method of adding a press wheel capability to either a new or an existing bar. The popularity of these units is due to there cost effectiveness, strength to weight ratio, simplicity of design, ease of maintenance and the fact that the design has been tested, proven and improved for over 20 years. The walking beam design ensures that the unit is capable of clearing most obstacles without damage and whilst maintaining a relatively even pressure on the paired wheel. The twins are capable of being configured as standard for between 6 inch and 13 inch row spacings. On request these spacings can be extended out beyond 13 inches. The units can be configured for low pressure (15kg) or high pressure (40kg), however most units are run at an average pressure of between 20 and 25kg. A choice of 15, 16 or 18 inch wheel sizes is available with a large number of tyre options. Units come standard with high quality zero maintenance Agri-Hubs on the wheels, these are fully sealed unit, that comes fully assembled and is repair by replacement. A range of other accessories are available to augment performance in some marginal conditions.

The new model walking wheels have a fully cast walking beam with side ribs to reduce bending and the vertical swivel yoke is also cast to prevent breakages.

A range of toolbar accessories are also available to assist with fitting a false toolbar if required.

Tyre – 80mm wide mid range wedge semi-pneumatic tyre. This tyre is a medium pressure tyre suited to wet and sticky conditions. Tyre will give good average results across a range of soil and climatic conditions. Tyre is good for moisture seeking and seed pressing in most conditions. Tyre has a tendency to leave paddocks rough, which is a necessity of the moisture channelling. This tyre is well suited to most seeding methods, points and boots. Not recommended in very rough or very abrasive soils (see semi solid or solid variants of this tyre)  For very sticky conditions see the Hi Flex version of this tyre.
