History of the AgriHub
The Manutec AgriHub was developed in 2014 as a response to the farming industry’s need for more reliable, low-maintenance hub solutions for agricultural machinery. Traditionally, press wheels and coulters used in agricultural machinery required regular greasing and upkeep, adding to the farmer’s workload and operational costs. Farmers were also losing skilled workers to the mines and relying on inexperienced seasonal workers with little or no maintenance skills. Recognising these challenges, Manutec embarked on a project to develop a range of fully sealed hubs that would eliminate the need for frequent maintenance while still delivering robust, long-lasting performance, and that could be easily replaced by un-skilled workers.
