16 inch Aluminium Press Wheel – HT/Ford Hub – No Hub or Stub Complete with 120WGSP Tyre on Wheel
Tyre – 120mm wide wedge semi-pneumatic tyre. This tyre is a medium pressure tyre suited to wet and mildly sticky conditions. Tyre will give an even pressure footprint over the 50mm of tyre face at the tip of the wedge. This tyre is specifically designed for use on Morris C1/C2, Seed Hawke, Flexi-Coil PD5700 and Bourgault 3320/3420 precision air seeders where shouldering is a problem. Shouldering is where the existing press wheel tyre runs across the shoulders of the seed trench and not in it. This tyre with its 50mm tip will apply pressure into most seed trenches. If your seed trench is less than 50mm and shouldering still may be an issue even with this tyre the we recommend ringing us to discuss some of the other narrower options that we have.
Another advantage of the Manutec wheels over the original equipment is that our wheels have a split rim with interchangeable tyres.
Not recommended in very rough or very abrasive soils (see solid variant of this tyre)
This tyre has a high sidewall to reduce rooster tailing.
