16 inch Aluminium Press Wheel – HT Hub – No Hub or Stub Complete with 16 inch 80mm Wedge Semi-Pneumatic Tyre on Wheel
Tyre – 80mm wide mid range wedge semi-pneumatic tyre. This is the 16 inch version of the 15 inch 80mm wedge, it fits on the same rim, which gives the wedge an extra half inch of depth. This tyre is a medium pressure tyre suited to wet and sticky conditions. Tyre will give good average results across a range of soil and climatic conditions. Tyre is good for moisture seeking and seed pressing in most conditions. Tyre has a tendency to leave paddocks rough, which is a necessity of the moisture channelling. This tyre is well suited to most seeding methods, points and boots. Not recommended in very rough or very abrasive soils (see solid variants of this tyre). This tyre is used extensively on CONSERVA PAK rims.
This wheel can be used with a wide variety of different hubs and bearing types and can be used with standard trailer hubs (HT and Ford) on stub axles, on zero maintenance agrihubs and also with our range of John Deere compatible hubs.
The stud pattern will also suit Morris, Bourgault and Seedhawk precision planters that use a 5 stud Ford pattern on the press wheels.
