John Deere 1870 HT Variant – Tyre – 120mm wide paired row profile semi-pneumatic tyre. This tyre is a low pressure tyre suited to paired row seeding. Tyre will give an even pressure footprint over the 120mm of tyre face with an area of slightly higher pressure to create a central moisture channel in between the two rows. Tyre has a tendency to bring soil back over the seed (desireable in most areas). This tyre is well suited to split or spread row seeding. Not recommended in hard soils or for excessive dry seeding – see the 20% harder version of this tyre)
This tyre has high sidewalls to help reduce rooster tailing in sandy soils.
